Awoll: A week of living lethargically

Well last week didn't go very well. Kept up watching my water but didn't do much else. I didn't even read any blogs so I have some reading to catch up on. Life happens and I'm not worried about it! Will take last weeks goals as new ones for this week. I was surprised that my waist stayed the same even though I gained 1.2 kgs! So my check-in for the Summer Slimmin' Challenge will show a gain.

Today's question: How do you pull yourself out of a funk?

  1. The week is over now, all you can do is make your next actgion better than your last one.

I clean my apartment! Usually if I'm in a funk it means I've let more than my eating go, having a fresh clean apartment also gives me a sweep clean mentally.

  2. Funks are the WORST!!! Music tends to pull me out of mine. Typically really upbeat really loud you can't help but shake-what-your-momma-made-ya music.

  3. Sometimes just starting is the hardest part... I just do it as they say & that reminds me how much better I feel when I do! Although I am one to stay consistent 99% of the time....

  4. Naaah, if you walk to work instead of taking a car or bus or something, then I'd count it as exercise, but I don't have a license or anything, so I walk to get from A to B because I haven't any choice, so it's not exercise for me it's just part of my lifestyle. I realise that doesn't make a lot of sense, but in my head it's different.

  5. I was out of it. Between being busy with my hubby's birthday weekend (and World Cup fever) and getting sick and having to see the doc (and get cortisone shot), I just sort of said, "screw it" to food watching. But I caught myself before there was serious damage. Yay.

Let's stay the course....Happy Weekend to you!

  6. Remember to post the link over at the Summer Slimmin' site for your official check-in.

I have to seriously work on water and journaling again. Both went bye-bye when I slacked. Sheesh. :P So easy to slip back.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write!
